Bukit Bintang Yogyakarta

Once, four teenagers want to go on vacation. The foursome tired with coursework that spends the rest of the world for their age. They feel  need for holiday that young spirit them back.

 Luckily for them, a lecturer gives them a pleasant task. The task given the task is to do a picnic. Yaa picnic, you did not misread. The four of us were told to do recreational activities in an attractive spot. 

The four of us honestly confused, what are the attractions? Because, we thought, all these interesting places in Jogja. Diverse tourist destinations makes Yogyakarta worth visiting. We have problems deciding wanted a vacation where.

"I'd love to see sparkling star" Dita said to me. His remarks brought me out of my reverie. Yaa star, stargazing is now a rare hobby among young people because they are more interested to see the beam that is under their advance.

Down? Instantly, the words below into things that caught my attention. of the word that reminds me of the places that are excellent new privileged area. One place to begin the story of the friendship the four of us.

Why suddenly down into a very interesting word? Because under've always kept the charm of its own. Charm that might seem epic. The charm of sparkling lights exquisite formations. Parade accompanied urban light night breeze that floated tenderly. 

"Ah, what if tomorrow Tuesday afternoon us to the hill star, going ga?" I tried to grab the attention of lely and Milang. They both nodded in agreement. Dita and Me then smiled.

Bukit star name. A place on the hill in the line of hills on the border of Yogyakarta Gunungkidul-this being one good spot to enjoy the beauty of the night the city of Yogyakarta. Hill is located in the district was originally Wonosari is a rest area. Realizing the potential of the panorama presented when taking a break at this point, the district government Gunungkidul renovate this place to make it look neat and comfortable so that visitors are interested in and linger here. 

 That afternoon, the four of us decided to go there on a motorbike. Equipped with two motors and pocket money as needed, we started the journey. We go hand in hand there, with robustly-Milang position as leader. We enjoyed the trip were quite reached within 30 minutes.

We were not at the location at 17:30. when he got there, we immediately issued a magic wand to produce images that cross-eyed. We decided to fill the stomach at one of the taverns that are under the mosque. The shop is small, but has a good spot to see the beauty of the night city yogya. Although shaped cross-legged, the situation is very clean. The lights were installed deliberately dim light so that the charm of the city did not lose.

That night, we ordered fried rice and noodle soup to accompany chat. The food served is very tasty. The selection of savory rice and seasoning for fried rice also feels right. Warmth is served every food matched against the wind that blows cool air.

Accompanied by a glass of hot chocolate, we did a fairly intense conversation. Discussions about the lecture until trivial things on campus. Issues discussed romance is also not spared, especially about CINLOK and LDR. Hahaha, you know, lament new college student.


Suddenly, the adhan for Isha 'reverberate from mushollah which is above our shop. Adhan bodes been almost 60 long minutes the four of us to be here. It's time we went back to their respective homes. Feels very short, but we are still happy because this is the star on the hill we can understand each other. Bukit Save to save our stories. :)  

BERDAMAI DENGAN HUJAN

Indonesia merupakan negara agraris. Kalimat ini sering kita dengar dimana-mana. Dengan luas wilayah yang terhampar luas dari ujung timur sampai barat ini membuat kebanyakan penduduknya bermata pencaharian sebagai petani.  Mereka menggantungkan hidupnya dari hasil pertanian.  

Sebagai negara agraris, tentunya komoditi ekspor utama kita pastilah hasil pertanian. Kenyataannya tidak seperti itu. Jangankan ekspor, untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pangan di dalam negeri saja kita musti mengimpor dari negara lain. Sayur-mayur hingga beras impor memenuhi kios-kios di negara kita. Padahal, negara yang memasok kebutuhan pangan kita memiliki luas wilayah yang lebih kecil dari kita. 

Bagaimana hal  ini bisa terjadi? Lagi-lagi, keterbelakangan alat pertanian dan mahalnya harga pupuk menjadi kambing hitam. Kurangnya inovasi dari para petani juga menjadi penyebab kenapa hasil pertanian kita kalah kualitas dari negara-negara tetangga. 

Dari sekian banyak masalah yang terjadi dalam dunia pertanian Indonesia, kita lupa akan satu hal penting yang jika kita tidak menjaganya mungkin akan menjadi bencana yang tak terelakkan, yaitu air. Air sering menjadi persoalan utama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Karena bagaimanapun kelangsungan hidup setiap makhluk  amat berkaitan dengan air yang dikonsumsi. Maka dari itu ketersediaan air yang ada harus dilindungi dan dilestarikan.

 

Indonesia merupakan negara yang memiliki 2 musim, yaitu musim hujan dan musim kemarau. Negara yang beriklim tropis dan berbentuk kepulauan ini hampir separuh wilayahnya dikelilingi oleh laut. Dengan wilayah yang terkepung lautan, otomatis kebutuhan akan air tawar menjadi penting. Sumber air tawar yang sering digunakan adalah air tanah. Air tanah sering digunakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari manusia. 

Kebutuhan akan air tanah di Indonesia terhitung tinggi, tercatat perumahan, hotel, hingga restoran  menggunakan air tanah untuk keperluan sehari-hari. Hal ini tentu membahayakan karena bersaing dengan para petani yang juga menggunakan air tanah untuk menyirami ladangnya. Padahal, Kita tidak bisa terus-menerus mengadalkan air tanah karena persediaannya yang terbatas. 

Untuk mengakali hal tersebut, petani kita memiliki beragam cara untuk mengatasinya. Para petani memakai kearifan lokal daerahnya masing-masing agar hasil tani mereka memuaskan. Dalam hal ini, mereka memakai perkiraan musim yang telah turun-temurun digunakan sejak jaman nenek moyang. 

Kebanyakan petani di Indonesia mengandalkan musim. Di pulau jawa, para petani menggunakan pranata mangsa untuk mengira-ngira kapan waktu yang tepat untuk memulai masa tanam. Pranata mangsa sendiri merupakan system tanam yang digali dari kearifan lokal tiap daerah dengan menghitung masa curah hujan.

Tapi, yang namanya musim sekarang ini sangat sulit untuk diprediksi. Musim hujan kadang tak tentu, musim kemarau apalagi. Malah sekarang musim hujan bertukar masa dengan musim kemarau. Tentu saja ini merubah perkiraaan yang telah ada.

Akibat musim yang tidak menentu, petani mengalami kerugian yang sangat besar. Dimana-mana terjadi Gagal panen. Kekeringan dan bencana alam seperti banjir bandang menjadi penyebab utama terjadinya gagal panen. Hal ini selalu terjadi berulang kali karena kita tidak mempersiapkan segala sesuatunya untuk menanggulanginya.. Untuk mengantisipasi musim yang tidak menentu inilah perlu dibuat infrastruktur yang mampu untuk mengatasi ketersediaan air di tiap wilayah.

Pembuatan embung menjadi salah satu solusi jitu. Keberadaan embung di daerah-daerah pertanian yang subur menjadi faktor utama yang menunjang keberlangsungan hidup tanaman. Apalagi jika embung tersebut dibangun di daerah yang sulit air, bisa menjadi penyelamat daerah tersebut.

Tidak perlu mengeluarkan banyak uang untuk membuat embung, cukup sederhana saja. Gali tanah hingga membentuk cekungan dan melapisinya dengan terpal anti bocor. Embung yang dibangun untuk menampung air hujan diharapkan mampu menjadi sumber persediaan air. Idealnya, embung dibangun di tempat yang lebih tinggi dari lahan pertanian di sekelilingnya. Dengan demikian, pembagian air cukup menggunakan gaya gravitasi bumi untuk mengairi lahan pertanian. 

Saat semua embung sudah berhasil dibangun. Air hujan akan memenuhi embung dan membasahi lahan petani dari air yang mengalir turun dari embung yang ada. Lahan milik para petani pun tidak kekurangan air dan tentu saja, petani tidak usah menyewa mesin pompa air untuk menyedot air tanah. 

Ketika embung sudah berhasil dibangun, langkah selanjutnya yang tak kalah penting yaitu irigasi. Irigasi menjadi hal yang penting. Kenapa penting? Karena pengairan yang lancar berawal dari system irigasi yang baik. Setidaknya, irigasi yang dibangun mampu untuk membagi laju aliran air agar distribusi air yang masuk ke lahan-lahan milik petani bisa merata. Irigasi yang baik juga bermanfaat untuk mengatur aliran air agar tidak membajiri lahan petani dan mampu mengalir sampai ke hulu.

Kesiapan infrastruktur harus dibarengi dengan perawatan yang maksimal. Kelemahan bangsa ini yaitu tidak awetnya infrastruktur yang ada. Perawatan yang berkelanjutan juga mendukung keberhasilan pertanian. Peran serta masyarakat untuk merawat infrastruktur yang telah tersedia menjadi kewajiban bersama. Maka ketika itu semua telah terwujud, pertanian Indonesia mampu menuju ke jenjang yang lebih baik dari sebelumnya.

Indonesia pernah berjaya karena pertaniannya. Mimpi Indonesia swasembada pangan bukanlah angan-angan belaka ketika itu terjadi pada tahun 1980-an. Ketika cadangan pangan kita terutama beras sangat melimpah bahkan mampu diekspor ke luar negeri. peristiwa tersebut merupakan prestasi yang membanggakan, namun hal itu tidak mampu bertahan lama.  Hampir dua dasawarsa lebih kita menunggu mimpi ini terwujud kembali. Swasembada pangan kembali menjadi hal yang mutlak. Menjadi sebuah keharusan seluruh pihak untuk bersinergi dan berkomitmen tinggi untuk mencapai itu semua. 

            Bukan tidak mungkin dalam waktu dekat hasil pertanian Indonesia mampu menjadi komoditi unggulan dan disukai di berbagai negara karena kualitasnya yang tidak kalah bagus. Menjadi sebuah kebanggan tersendiri ketika negara kita mampu menjamin ketersediaan pangan untuk seluruh umat manusia.  Sungguh mulia sekali bukan ? Jayalah taniku, makmurlah negeriku.

Breathtaking Accident

    This incindent began when I’m running errand from school. The order named “Muballigh Hijrah” (MH). The location for my mubaligh hijrah is in maguwoharjo, presicely behind adi sucipto airport.

 

That night, after pray maghrib, I went to border of the village which is adjacent to the railroad tracks. My intention to go there is to hunting picture. The railroads tracks has a beautiful bend and the view is beautiful too. 

 

At that time, I was standing right above it rails, and a few hundred meters of me drove “Madiun Jaya” at medium speed. I took some photos when the train passing the bend. I was so fascinated with the train untill I was not aware the approaching of the train. I just realized the danger was approaching when the train lights shine right at me. I jumped to the side rails for safety.

Sandwich Basics

Choose a bread. There are lots of different styles of bread that contain "whole grain" instead of "multi grain." These are the best ones to choose if you're trying to eat healthy, since multi grain has no nutritional benefits beyond normal bread. You can consider some of the following types of breads:

• Sliced breads are the norm in most Western grocery stores and these are what is used to make most "standard" sandwiches, like peanut butter and jelly. You can get this bread made from many different ingredients (rye, potato, white, wheat, etc), and the different flavors will go better with some sandwiches than others.
• Loaf breads are basically sliced breads that haven't been cut yet, but get used in much the same way. This bread is usually fresher and cut thicker than normal sliced bread.
• Buns are small round or oval loaves that get cut in half to make the sandwich. This is common with hamburgers or Brioche sandwiches, but you can also use things like pretzel buns.
• Raised flat breads include breads like focaccia bread or panini. These have a similar texture to pizza dough or true flat breads but are thicker, which means they can be sliced to create a true sandwich.
• Flat breads include things like pita bread, naan, and tortillas. These do not make a true sandwich but instead make wraps or are cut in half and stuffed between the natural bread layers.

Choose your condiments. Condiments are meant to make the bread more moist. They aren't required, but they can really add to the flavor and texture of the food. When placed on the bread, the condiment should be spread as close to the edge of the bread as possible, making sure the bread is fully covered. Some condiments include:

• Butter
• Mayo
• Mustard
• Ketchup
• Pesto
• Barbecue Sauce
• Hollandaise

Choose your fillings. Different sandwiches will include different things between the bread layers. This is where you can really get creative! Usually what's inside the sandwich determines which meal it's "appropriate" for, but don't let this stop you: if you want a bacon-and-egg sandwich for dinner, go for it! Fillings come in a few categories:

• Meats like deli meat, sausage patties, loose meat (usually ground and in a sauce), or chicken breast.
• Vegetables like salad leaves, stir-fry vegetables, sliced tomatoes, sliced onions, etc.
• Cheese, which is generally always sliced for ease of use, though some cheese may be crumbled (like blue cheese). Good sandwich cheeses include swiss, muenster, brie, gouda, pepperjack, or cheddar.
• Other items like egg salad, fried eggs, chili, peanut butter, jelly, marmite, and nutella.

Eat the sandwich cold. You can assemble the sandwich by layering the ingredients between the two pieces of bread and simply eating it cold, if you want to. This is common with lunch sandwiches.

Cook the sandwich. Cooking of sandwiches or hot sandwiches are more common with breakfast and dinner. You should never cook a sandwich in a microwave, as this will steam the bread and make it soggy. However, there are several good ways that you can cook a sandwich or heat it up:

• You can use a frying pan or griddle. This is most common with sandwiches like grilled cheese. When doing it this way, you should cover the bread that will be touching the pan with butter or mayonnaise and then cook the sandwich over low heat until the cheese melts, switching to high heat towards the end to brown the bread if it is not already. Don't forget to flip it!
• You can use a broiler, which most modern stoves have. This is the drawer under the stove and is usually turned on with a special knob. It gets very hot! Put the sandwich on a pan and place in under the pre-heated broiler for about 5 minutes a side. Check is frequently to make sure it doesn't burn. This is closest to how sandwich shops (like Subway) cook their sandwiches.
• You can use a panini grill, which is basically just a George Foreman grill (for the American crowd). This grill gets sprayed with cooking spray and then the sandwich gets pressed between the layers of the grill for about 3 minutes.
• You can use a BBQ to cook a sandwich. Aside from the obvious prep of a burger, you can also put other kinds of sandwiches on a grill whole. However, the flames will have to be low or you will likely burn your sandwich.
